eye candy

I'm just drooling over these pictures this morning {thanks Lonny Magazine}. I couldn't sleep last night because I was dreaming of a potential new clients space I saw last night. So of course I start looking at every home decor magazine & design blog for inspiration. My mind is bursting with eye candy right now...

This bathroom makes me very happy... Love that sailboat painting! The middle kitchen with the chalkboard doors is such a winner in my books... How fun for a family! The last kitchen makes me feel very sophisticated... Don't you just want to throw a cocktail party in it?

 On another note... I'm so excited for this weekend because!

1.) It's the Encinitas Street Fair this Saturday & Sunday {Stop by the rooster & say HI!}.

2.) I'm being whisked away by my sweet husband for a romantic getaway {much needed}.

3.) We're leaving for Palm Springs with the kids this Sunday... Yippee!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend & stay dry!

To be honest with you every thing's too good too be true right now! {smile} By the time I get home from the craziness of the rooster I then have to switch my hat {mommy hat} for the evening... I can't sit down to tell you all the latest & greatest! {sorry} But, I did want to tell you all about a few fun & fabulous events that are coming up...

who's #er 1...

Well, I did it... Ran the Encinitas 5k this Saturday... I had a blast!!!! My running partner was Grace {grace happens} & my cousin, Polly, & her little ones, India & Gwenny. Shhhh we all talked the entire run {little walk}. I'm a little upset that I didn't take my daughter, Taylor, who by the way was still asleep when I left the house {lucky}. Taylor would have had the best time. So many families were out & about. It felt good to support Encinitas & to be healthy! I'm going to sign up for next year & the year after.... & the year after.... Get my point! Good times! Sorry, I didn't take more pictures... I didn't bring my camera. Grace took these pictures from her iphone. Thanks Grace! Don't I look half a sleep in these pictures. ha ha ha My eyes kept watering. I think that was because of the cold weather. Morning mist...

My #er 1 running partner... Grace!

The fam dango.... Polly & miss India.

The Glaser clan. Too cute!

Then after the race we hit the park with the kids... Ryan decided to create a new way to ride the dolphin.

It started a moonlight beach trend... Look at Harper! LOL

I hope you enjoyed these pictures. I really can't tell you how much fun we had. The spirit, excitement & family feeling was amazing. I know how weird to say family, but their were tons of moms & dads walking & running with their kids. Way to go! I think we all need to be more healthy & involved in exercise with the entire family. That's my new goal with my children! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hope to see everyone next year at the race! For all the friends I saw Saturday, You're AWESOME!

Keep on running....

{a fresh start}

How can you NOT start 2010 off right living here... Beautiful, Sunny North County... Encinitas. I moved to San Diego in 1994 & have never looked back. I lived down south because I went to San Diego State {amazing & so much fun} for college & then ended up in Encinitas as a store owner, wife & mother of 2. Wouldn't change my life for the world. I do have to say North County is the most magical & special place on earth.

January 1st started off perfect...
Ryan got a new Radio Flyer Tri-cycle for Christmas {ok, a little bit before Christmas {I couldn't wait to give it to him}} so we're trying to teach him how to ride it... Sean strapped his leash from his surfboard on it... So we could pull him. Yaaa that was a disaster... Tomorrows another day! Practice makes perfect!
Ryan taking a little break from riding... Showing off his new adorable t-shirt {Ebb & Flow}!

Taylor riding her heart out. We got Taylor this old vintage Schwinn Cruiser {check it out here}... I think she will be getting a new bike {light & fresh, something real for her to have fun with}. Not that she can't ride it... It's so heavy so it's very hard for her to ride. But, Taylor does pretty well under the circumstance. I think if she rode her bike everyday for a week she would shed 10 pounds. I need to ride that thing.. HA HA HA

Little water break & a princess wave... Cheers!

Well, well, well... Ryan found my worst nightmare... A cat {I have massive allergies to cats & dogs... BAD}! The pictures were pretty cute though... You should have heard me, "Ryan, be nice... Gentle". He did listen. Thank God Ryan didn't want me to hold him after he played with that cat. Don't get me wrong I like animals I just can't be around them. {boo}
Nice kitty!
For all you Encinitas locals... What's this? I had to test you! Please do tell...
The kids played
Then I tried to take a picture with the hubby for Jan. 1st, " memory"... Hmmm somethings wrong. I have about 10 shots like this. Opps
{Round 2}... Not bad. I need more pictures of the two of us. Even if it's like this, it's something... Too cute!
Now the morning is done... Ryan is running to the car.
As my mother & father call it... We ran the dogs this am... Now it's time for Ryan's nap. Nice!
I hope each & everyone of you had a wonderful New Years day... The Scully family sure did! I'm still working on my resolutions... I want them to be real, stick to, & good... Nothing cheese or non-touchable.
