if i had a bahama mamma

It would look like this little Salt Box...

Can't you just picture yourself relaxing in that bathroom... & doing absolutely nothing? That's music to my ears! Pure peace & quiet! Can you hear it... ? If you listen very closely... shhhhhh

I would like this sink in my kitchen! You really could put it anywhere in a house {bathroom, mud room, on a back porch...etc.!!!!} That skirt is divine. Do you know how many rolls of paper towels I could store {hide} under there? Millions!!!

Ahhh look he left towels out just for me... Thanks Tom!

Isn't this little Salt Box to die for... ? A perfect little beach house for me to relax in with my family! I could get a lot of work {rest} done here. I think my brain has gone to vacation mode. In due time...yes, in due time!

oh kids...

I know these photos are really speaking two different languages, but I can't stop staring at them. So why not... I'll put them side by side & let you all stare! One says, I'm clean & crisp... Please don't make a mess in my room... Everything is perfect! The other says, come over & lets play. That polka dot bedding on that cot screams giggling all night long! Hmmm maybe these two rooms depict my children. One perfect angel {Taylor} & one wild devil {Ryan}.

Ugly Face

Right before I went to bed last night which was very very late... I decided to stop by Darby's blog, Fly Through Our Window to see if she had posted anything {love her blog}... OH yes she did! I about died from laughing so hard. My husband was actually up watching a movie {rare that he's up past 8:30 pm}... I barely could get the words out of my mouth... But, I did... Sean come here! {tons of hand waving} You've got to see this video! We were crying, laughing, snorting, giggling & dying together... Thanks DARBY. I have needed a good laugh like this...

WARNING: Watch & you will laugh sooooo hard!

squeaky clean

I think I would definitely take more showers if I had this shower curtain... Isn't she pretty? OK... I think I probably just scared 1/2 my readers away... LOL Of course I shower everyday religiously! This would just make me take 10 more instead of my average 5 that I do. {I hope you all didn't believe that} Why do I like her so much... Pattern? Color?... Or is it just the fact that I need to take a shower right now... {giggle}

{photo via style chronicle}

i can't stop smiling...

I'm squealing with excitement right now... ! Keeping a secret that's so fabulous is very difficult for me. I'm going to do my best & keep my lips sealed {scouts honor}! Something so exciting is happening to the rustic rooster. Lets just say, we've talked about this dream for years & now our dream is 100% coming true! slip 'n slide + chicken kabobs = happy father's day!

We had a blast this Father's Day! Really the day was filled with TONS of laughter... {from me waking up late & Sean yelling out Happy Mother's Day... Ops!}. We took a glorious walk to downtown Encinitas for breakfast... Then had some wild slip 'n slide time... & ended the day with a scrumptious BBQ at my parents house. Perfect father's day!
CAUTION: These photos might make you laugh...
:: Ryan & daddy ::

:: Taylor ::
NOTE: NO child was hurt during the Scully's wild slip 'n slide event!
Ahhhh Colorful plate of veggies... Waiting patiently to get picked for the kabobs! I could have had just this plate for dinner... So crisp & fresh!
OH so yummy!!! I got the idea for chicken kabobs from the Martha Stewart everyday food magazine.
Then the day ended with this carrot cake. I called it the carrot fat finger cake. lol My sister-in-law got it for free when she walked into VONS on Saturday... So WA LA we all had FREE desert. Actually It wasn't so bad either. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it... But if I was in a huge crunch or panic I would head over to VONS on Santa Fe & pick another one up. Lets say this was an excellent back up cake.

I can't even tell you how blessed I am to have such an a amazing father. He has stood by me through everything. I really have theperfect father!!! He has taught me patience, responsibility... How to live life & laugh. He has taught me how to open my eyes & not judge... & Respect others. Words can't even describe how lucky I am to have you in my life dad! I love you very much!
Sean... You are an amazing father to Taylor & Ryan. Your love, compassion & strength is priceless! They are so lucky to have you for their daddy! I know you will protect them till the end... Lucky, Lucky, Lucy!
I hope you all had a wonderful father's day... The Scully & von Gymnich family sure did!
