style hour photos

Thank you all so very much for coming to Style Hour last week. The show of support for the rooster & all the vendor's were absolutely amazing! {huge hug} When I got home that night, put my tired feet up, I had a permanent grin on my face. It's been  a long time since I felt that way. Thank you again to each & everyone of you. Can't wait for the next party! {wink}

OK everyone I have a few things to say. Nothing really too interesting, but at least it's something. Right?!?! First off, I had a great idea this weekend to walk with my kids & hubby to a new bakery called Gordy's in Encinitas. I saw it last weekend when I stopped by smart & final. Well, we walked there & enjoyed a few different baked goods.  

                              

                    

The design was retro contemporary {don't really know what to call it} The Plonks were wonderful. Fresh, moist & extremely enjoyable! I think the true test was to see if the kids liked it... They loved it!  I would go back to get a plonk & coffee for a little pick me up snack. I don't think I would have it for breakfast again... More of a snack place in my taste.

                     

Happy little eaters. {look both are smiling at me & taking a picture... that's a first} I will say I will never buy Snapple fruit punch again. Pure sugar & gross. {Sorry Snapple... bad drink} I know my kids liked it... But, I'm sure any kids would like a pure sugar drink.

It's the Carlsbad 5000, April 3rd. Wow, do I have many memories at this 5k. Now I'm going  to add more because  it's Ryan's 3rd birthday on the day of the run & second Taylor wants to run it with me. Yaaaaa I can't wait. Hope to see some familiar faces out there.

I need some Ideas to plan Taylor's Birthday {March 24th} & Ryan's Birthday {April 3rd}... Any suggestions?

I think I need these for my refrigerator. I have plastic containers that  are constantly getting stained from food or disfigured from the dishwasher. Aren't they pretty? Shhh can you hear that... They're calling my name! Alex, take us home... We'll make your food, life & refrigerator so happy! Done deal if that happens. Glass containers come to momma! Do any of you use these types of glass containers? Please let me know what you think of them! Good or bad?

Good morning everyone! I'm trying to wake up right now {coffee please kick in}! My feet hurt, my eyes are fuzzy, but my head is racing with so many happy thoughts about last night. OMG we all had a blast. I can't even tell you how many people came... Thank you, Thank you. Thank you! Everything looked amazing. My husband & I are getting closer & closer to moving {thank goodness}! Every time I look at this exterior shot from Cottage Living I know in my heart that this is the look I want for my new home! The abundance of bushes, white roses, brick walkway, gravel driveway {i would like a shell driveway} white picket fence for privacy... So calming & classic! Need I say more, this is my ultilamte dream home {julies too}!  I wonder if this homeowner would mind if I just moved in. Nahhhh No biggie! Right?

i have a confession...

I've never had nutella!

ok, ok, ok... I know some of you are laughing & some of you are appalled at me, but for some reason I walk  past it & never pick it up. What's wrong with me? Everything! Then this last week a bunch of girlfriends were tweeting about it. Now I've realized I need to get on the band wagon & try the darn thing. I googled recipes & even went to the market tonight to go buy it because they all looked so good.

I was actually out of luck because Henry's didn't have it {I know I need to go to Ralph's or Von's}. Is it a sign that I shouldn't have it? ha ha ha Every thing's a sign to me right now. {look at this post} Plus, it was world nutella day, February 5th. Shucks, I missed it! Are you ready for this... Their is a  world nutella day fan page on facebook, with over 21,000 + fans.  Holy C#%P! Well, if I like it so much I'm joining! You all watch & see. Now it's official... I'm going to have a nutella party & eat away! Get ready girls because I will have starved myself for nutella {wink}

Hi blogger friends! I've missed you all so much... Really! {Thanks Carole for the blogging talk yesterday}. I've realized a few things in the last few days. I need time to re-coop & re-rejuvenate my mind, body & soul. Without positive new energy I can't function. Sign number one for me... My voice went out yesterday {great}.  Sign number two... My back office computer crashed now. Sign number three... The Internet was down all day at our office. Sign number four... I read over at Simply Seleta that she needed to slow down &  back off to nurture herself.  Well, there you have it my friends... In  a nut shell I need to nurture myself, slow down &  relax. It's a sign! So if my posts are a little spotty for a little bit you know why. After the huge event  {click here} that the rustic rooster is hosting, my voice comes back, the Internet is turned on &  I get my new computer... I'll blog, blog, blog!  Please don't feel sorry for me. I'm busy as ever {kicking butt} & loving it, but I just need to get my priorities straight. Health & family come first! That's it... {huge smile}
