A little window into my trip

Well, Here's a little window into my trip to Vegas this weekend . . .

Lovely Southwest Airlines had the pleasure of taking my husband and myself to Vegas, with a few other business associates from my husband company. Once we arrived we boarded a shuttle and took a wild (crazzzzy drivers) ride over to the MGM Grand. Wow, can we say huge Hotel Frat party. I felt like I was a college student getting ready to party for Spring Break. I can't tell you how old I felt . . . But, I did have a great time people watching. I do know that Vegas isn't for me. The smoke, obscene dressing, gambling, up all night and heavy parting really doesn't excite me. I guess I'm all grown up . . .

MGM LION

For starters when we walked into our room this is what I laid eyes on first . . . WOW, what were the designers thinking and then I turned my head to the right and this is what I saw . . .

Hello! Nothing matches and yes I will say, UGLY! I need to design a hotel. How fun would that be. One day!!!!!
As we were starting to get ready for the night on the town I tried to get a few shots of my husband. Who does he think he is? A super star . . . Hello!!!!! This is all I got (plus a snarl and hurry up, stop fooling around, we're going to be late!)

So as the weekend rolled along and the weather was beautiful, we decide to go to the pool for the day. I was in heaven because I couldn't stop laughing at everyone . . . the best people watching day of my life.

Now the day was coming to an end I decide that I needed to find the best looking and dressed man I could find . . . I DID and now I can't wait to show him to you all. I had the pleasure to get my picture taken with him too . . . All I can say is I love you! When I tapped him on his shoulder and said, Excuse me sir, Can I take a picture with you . . . He turned looked into my eyes . . . I was mesmerized by his smile (or should I say Style) . . . Hee hee

Move over Sean . . . Mullet man is my new love!

Sneak peek

I wanted everyone to take a peek into my private world . . .

I'm re-doing my master bedroom pillows. Yaaaaa, I can't wait for a new look. Something fresh and alive, that's what I keep telling Sean. He just rolls his eyes and says ok, Whatever honey! That's all I need to here . . . Whatever honey!

Here are my old pillows. Don't you just love my little super model in the shot! Taylor just had to get in . . . & don't you just love what she's done with the pillow arrangement. That's an everyday design. Loving it!!!!!

We just had a really fun re-paint job . . .

As you can see we do all types of re-paint jobs. You can bring in anything & we pretty much can re-paint it. Of course we have our limits & some pieces we just can't paint . . . But, generally we can do it all. Baby cribs, night stands, armories, headboards, benches, tables . . . etc. Contemporary, retro, vintage, traditional you name we have done it . . . Fun, Fun, fun!

Getting ready

One of my really good girlfriends, Laura Fairchild is getting ready to have her first baby. How exciting! She will be a great mom . . . I can't wait to meet her new little bundle of Joy. The exciting part is we don't know what the sex is yet. So Laura went with a chocolate brown and lime green theme so If it was a girl, the room would be perfect or if it was a boy it would still be perfect. Too cute!

Laura hired rustic rooster to re-paint her crib. This is the special part for me . . . the crib that we re-painted is the crib that she used as an infant. We were able to keep all the original hardware . . . Love it! It turned out amazing! Then we custom designed a changing table for her in the same chocolate brown with # 11 cream undertone . . . to match with the bumper and bedding. The moment everything came into the room I got the chills. I love the blend of old (her crib) and new (our custom changing table) . . . We are waiting on another custom round side table for next to the bed. When that comes in the room really will be complete. I will show pictures of that when it's done.

I snuck into her bedroom and took some shots of her adorable bedding. I wanted to jump right in and take a nap. Super cozy . . . Love all the fluff! This is bedding from Shabby Chic. So now it's considered a collectors item because Shabby Chic is no longer in business , except at Target. I just love your bedding Laura!
