i'm all done splashing around

What do you get when you have 3 kids {2 boys & 1 girl} that share 1 bathroom?

COASTAL SIMPLICITY

I decided to go very simple in this bathroom... The homeowners are temporarily keeping the existing shower & floor tile {which they dislike VERY much} due to other changes in the house that took priority. They will get to it... I'm sure pretty soon!

I added white towels... 2 natural waste baskets & a matching hamper to make their moms life so much easier. Big chunky glass jars of cotton balls & Q-Tips... Beach house hand soap & fun shell prints in vintage frames.

Now my splish splashing is complete in this room... When I come back to splash around again I'll let you know. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend...

i've been splashing around...

in this bathroom... More photos to come!

splish splash...

Today, I went over to one of my clients homes to see the kids bathroom progress. I was so pleased to see how it's turning out! I can't even tell you how happy I am right now {all smiles}! The galvanized goose neck lighting, custom cabinets & mirrors, wall color, perfect cup pulls... etc. are fabulous! Shhh... I love my job!

bathroom project

I've started another Scully home project {bathroom}... Slowly but surly I'm ticking of my to do list for our little place. So number 5, 468.) Carrera Marble for the bathroom counter top... Yeeeeek I'm so excited right now. Today Contractor John will be grouting & then momma Alexandra will be cleaning & designing away! Then I'm ready for number 5,469.) Re-carpet the master bedroom.

fabulous find

I'm so in love with my fabulous new find... I use it in my bathroom to catch all of my precious jewels . I'm pretty picky with my blue & white pottery. It can't be too blue or super new looking. When I stumble upon an oldie even with cracks in it {that has all my special requirements}... Back off because this rooster chick is buying it! Ahhh Isn't she pretty!

before & after... bathroom

I know I kept promising everyone before & after shots of my bathroom re-do... I completely forgot. Sorry! After about 5 people yelling at me at work today... I remembered! Oopps I had mommy brain... Well, here's the before picture of the bathroom when we bought or place about 5 years ago. The gentleman had so many cabinets in this tiny little space... I don't know how he could actually walk around & function {get clean/dry}. We removed everything & just started fresh...

:: after ::

I'm trying to find more photos on my computer... & I can't. When & if I do... I will post more, more, more. I swear it!!! Enjoy...

{i heart you}

As Melissa would say in the office... "I heart you!" I love the windows, wall color, wood paneling, bathtub... I LOVE everything! I will take it all. Please just wrap it up & put it on my tab.

Thanks,

Good Morning . . .

I walked into the bathroom this morning & this is what was staring at me . . . At first I just overlooked her & then I looked again, cleared my eyes & started laughing. All I could think about was, Who planted this . . . Sean or maybe Taylor got creative & did it. After bath time I make them pick up their bath toys . . . So did She do this after walking out of the bathroom? Hmmmm I do have to say that it was a nice way to wake up this morning . . . It brought a smile to my face. Hope you all enjoy it too Ahhhh the joys of being a parent!

Getting somewhere . . . With the Bathroom
