Mini Vacation

So sorry for the lack of posts . . .

The Scully clan took a much NEEDED vacation with some good friends to Palm Desert this last weekend. We had an amazing time! Of course I was the one taking all the shots so you won't be seeing me in any of the photos. Isn't that the way it always works . . . You never see mom in any of the shots. Tough break being a mom!

Here are a few fun photos . . . Enjoy!

Pool side at the Condos . . . Not bad!

Beautiful Spanish haciendas . . . Very nicely done. I could see myself living in one. I know I'm the cottage girl, but I crossed over a little this last weekend. Loved it!

Rock Star Ryan . . . Wearing his sisters sunglasses! Great shot Sean . . . Thanks!

Ryan couldn't get enough of the water. This was his first real water experience and we couldn't keep him out . We had one of those floating suits for him to wear, but he didn't like it. So next time Ryan will wear a vest like his big sister. Of course we don't promote running by or around the pool but, these shots crack me up. You should have heard me, Ryan NO running, slow down, stop! I'm surprised my voice didn't go.

Our little mermaid . . . Taylor absolutely loves the pool. If she had her way she would stay in it all day. I 'm so happy I got her the vest to wear in the water because I didn't have to worry about her falling in. She was such a big girl and floated everywhere! Now we have to re-enroll her in swim lessons. Noonan Family Swim school here we come!!!

These little water squirting turtles were genius. I finally got a shot without kids . . . Fun!

Once again my husband did a great shot . . . Move over Alex here comes Sean, PRO PHOTOGRAPHER! I guess I need to learn from him now! Thanks (OK, Sean needs to wear a helmet, because he's getting a big head about his shots! . . . Shhhhhh Don't let him know I told you all that)

Where's Taylor?

Hmmmmm . . . I wonder where Taylor could be?
Don't you just love it when kids play hide & seak & think you can't find them, but they're a dead give away because they have a whole leg, shoe or arm hanging out! Gotta love kids!

Hmmmm . . . Where's Taylor hiding at the rustic rooster!

Can someone tell me where?

The perfect hot cup of Joe!

rustic rooster has the PERFECT cafeteria mug! After heavy searching around the world (OK, locally on the Internet . . . That made me sound like a world traveler. hee hee) high and low, mom and I fell in love with this style mug. It's perfect to hold. You can still heat your tea, hot cup of Joe or even hot chocolate up very nicely. I think that the plain white ceramic mug is so boring and cold . . . But, not ours! Come on by and get your Mug at rustic rooster . . . For the perfect hot cup of Joe!

Dinner with the family . . . Yummie!

Last night we went out with the family for an amazing dinner . . . at When in Rome. The food, drinks, company and night were absolutely perfect! I felt kind of funny because I kept taking pictures with my new camera . . . But, look at these amazing shots I got! Makes you want to go to When in Rome and EAT with your family! Hee hee Not bad for an amature photographer! Yes, I know I need to take a class, but I'm having so much fun . . .

The love of my life . . . Mr. Sean Thomas Scully!

Grandma and Taylor in a deep conversation . . . about Legoland!

Sean had a little hard time taking a mother daughter shot . . . Look at Taylor's lips, she put lipstick on all by herself! Wow

Sean's trying to focus and keep a conversation while I was taking this shot.

Grandma (Great Grandma, GIGI) . . . Need I say more! Shes gorgeous at 96!

Taylor loves wearing my pashmina like this . . .
She does this all by herself too! Little fashion diva.

Me and my father had so much fun laughing together last night. If you haven't met my dad, you need to know that he thinks he's hysterical (cracks himself up . . . even with tears too!) but every time he tells a joke or a one liner (which is all the time) it gets lost in translation. He's German. But I love him!!!!!!!!
