Happy Thanksgiving!

Thought I would share this funny little story with everyone on this Thankful Day:

Recently I received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude & an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious & laced with profanity. I tried & tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else I could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary. Finally, I was fed up & I yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. I shook the parrot & the parrot got angrier & even ruder. So, in desperation, I threw up my hands, grabbed the bird & put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked & kicked & screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that I'd hurt the parrot, I quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto my outstretched arms & said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language & actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions & I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude & unforgivable behavior."I was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As I was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

I'm trying...

Too much stuff... {I've been eliminating like it's going out of style} I'm trying to put their room all together right now. Taylor & Ryan's closet is still a work in progress. I'm one of those moms... "Put it back where you got it or have mommy help you!" Hey, it works & looks good!

Hopefully on Thanksgiving day Sean can hang the pictures up in the room. I'm also waiting on a blanket for Ryan... Still not in yet. Arrrggghhh The moment all those goodies are done I will show you what I did!

I'm in LOVE with the kids new plates & bowls I just got... They're perfect. Not too big, not too small... Us women call it portion control. Maybe I need to start using them for me! ha ha ha They're a great hospital green color. I'm going back to get more today. I can see them used for art projects, cooking projects... You name it you can use it {even to organize your desk or jewelry}. FUN!

OK... I think I might have a slight problem! I first started with these... & now I'm on to these! I know I love shoes & purses, but now do I love Christmas mugs? What's wrong with me?

I'm OK... I just love Christmas... Plus , I have little ones who I want to get them into the Christmas spirit... OK, I'm OK It's all just a season. It will pass!

I just started working with a fabulous family in Fairbanks Ranch... They've hired me to completely do the entire master bedroom from head to toe. Plus, some other rooms here & there. Can't wait to show you this room... It will be gorgeous {i'm moving in... They don't know quite yet... No biggie, right?}!

So far presenting to them has been wonderful & their excitement has been so enjoyable. I love to see people get excited & giddy just like me over fabric & furniture... I feel like we get closer & bond! Ahhh the little things in life excite me!
