Ok... Let's have some fun this year!!! Hello 2015 here I come!!!! I want to show you what I'm working on or what I've worked on. Some of my pictures will be teasers, before, progress and after shots of my work. Well, here ya go...  I took these pictures {don't laugh} of a home I started working on last year in the La Jolla Shores. My clients wanted their family room and living room completly redone... Everything brand new! Here's the living room... I'll show you the family room next. Now, remember I took these photos... I took a perfect sized beach cottage that had such amazing bones and turned it into something simple and very classic. The new color scheme was calming and truly peaceful. I did add a pop of color to the room. Finding this blue linen fabric was definitely an easy task for me... It had a French flair but coordinated with the classic blue and whites that were added to the room.  The blue really tied the entire room together. I hope my pictures help you see the changes that I made for my clients... Enjoy!!!

You know what's been on every designers mind right now... OMG It's 2015 and I'm gonna try harder... I'm going to change {think bigger and better}...  I'm going to do new and exciting things for my clients. Well, I think that's absolutely wonderful!!! No joke... Always being open minded makes you a very special person {wink}!!! Never give up... Never! Realistically, I do try new and different things, but I always go back to my core design style... The classics. Sorry, but I will be honest and truthful with everyone this year.  I love simplicity with traditional lines. Of course I add a wild card into each home I design... If you want to know what a wild card is, I guess you're going to have to hire me {wink}. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2015... I'm so excited for this year! Big things are coming to the rooster! Watch out...

christmas parade {encinitas}

Tonight's the night... It's the Encinitas Christmas Parade! Yaaaaaaa A definite must on our Christmas to-do list for me and my little ones... Here's a little friendly advise if you've never been before... Get down to the 101 by 3:00pm so you can be guaranteed a parking spot, wear warm clothes and bring chairs and a blanket... Highway 101 shuts down at 4:00pm... It will be so fun!!! Can't wait for another family tradition!

So do you have an elf? We sure do... His name is Mr. Jingles.  My little ones absolutely adore him. Shhh I secretly do too! Seeing them jump up in the morning out of bed to see what he has done next is so cute! Plus, they're listening to me {kind of... wink}. All I have to say, is I believe in Christmas and so do my children! Making my children's Christmas experience even more magical, I'm 100% in! What fun things does your elf do... Please share!!!!
