I can not get this fabulous place out of my mind, drybar. I was introduced to it by a dear dear friend {Thanks Hil} on facebook... I have battled wavy, stuck in the middle thick hair. It never gets really curly or really straight. I'm stuck in limbo. So I'm constantly straightening my hair on my own or once in a while at a salon. I do get the Japanese Straigtening Treatment, but that doesn't last forever. Wow, 35 dollars for a blow out. Amazing! Everytime you go to a salon they charge you up the ying yang & you still have to tip. So frustrating, especially for me! The moment I saw this company on Facebook... I about died. No joke I wanted to open a franchise up here in San Diego! Great idea. Go check Dry Bar out if you live in Los Angeles... I am so jealous!!! Hopefully I can stop by & have a blow dry done when I'm up in LA.

Well, Here's my hair almost 4 months later air dried {no flat iron, hair dryer or brush}. I didn't use anything at all. I love having my hair straightened. I will admit right after I get it done for about 5 days... I'm miserable {hate it}. Not being able to shower, put my hair up in a pony tail or even wear a hat to conceal the stick/bone straight look that it gives... Once I can take a shower & my hair relaxes... I'm good to go! But in the long run {1 year} my hair is so manageable & easy for me to deal with. Thanks Japanese straightening treatment! See you next September!

Bone Straight

Well, I did it again... One of my crazy beauty tricks!

Last September I straightened my hair with the Japanese straightening treatment. Wow, it was amazing! Wash & go... Love it! It lasted for almost a year on me. Every one's hair is different so it might last longer or less... I could have done it again in 8 months after I had it done because of my re-growth... but with 2 kids, full time job & a small social life I didn't do it then. My birthday rolled around & I said, Wa La... The only down side about this treatment is that it takes 3 hours at the salon, you can't wash your hair for 3 days, put it in a pony tail or even put a hat on. They don't want any dents or water to ruin the procedure... I need to be in hibernation right now. I swear I put deodorant & perfume on. Ha ha ha So this is what my hair looks like right now... Love it!!! I will show you all a picture after I've washed it...
