rainy day

I just want to give you all a heads up... Tons of new furniture arrived today.Yes, even in the rain. It was a typical crazy day at the rooster. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any good shots of the furniture because the boys had it all stacked & stuffed in our garage. Plus, I would have been drenched with water if I tried to take some shots. Sorry... I guess you just have to check back tomorrow. WOW, wasn't it a crazy rainy day! I loved it!

I'm working with another new client so fabric is on my mind... Isn't this fabulous fabric. It makes me feel warm & fuzzy {besides the glass of wine sitting next to me}. I need that right now...

Now here's the million dollar question... What would you do with this fabric if you had 22 yards of it?

What do you think is behind these cabinet doors & drawers? I'll let you in on a little secrete... I live in a very small home with four people so I have to get creative about my space/storage really fast! Not kidding at all!

I do have to say that this cabinet is one of my favorite pieces in my home. I got it about 7 years ago from an amazing antique dealer. Everything is original from paint to hardware on this cabinet. I do admit I was a little worried to have my kids around it at first, but then realized I can't stop buying gorgeous antiques because of them & two this is my home not theirs. They had better learn how to respect furniture fast.
