multi tasking...

Yesterday, was one of those days...  I tried to squeeze out a few more drops of work while I was playing with my dear friend {her blog}! I know I sound like the bad guy here, but omg we had a great time. The girls danced in the parking lot & I measured as fast as I could!  I found each of my clients something purdy!  Everytime I go I'm  in heaven...

 

Then off to our next destination...  Lala in Laguna Beach. They were having a Labor Day weekend SALE. Oh did I get some good stuff! I always feel like a kid in a candy store when I'm there...  I would definitely stop by if you can. It's such an inviting, colorful & extremely friendly boutique.

 

 

The sun was setting... Our mini Blue Jean Jacket gang were starting to get restless...  So it was only fair that we treated them to some pizza before the night was over!

I'm not going to complain at all... The multi tasking did pay off! I'm happy & they're happy!  Oh what a day!

This summer has been an absolute blast {whirlwind}... !The Scully clan adventured out & went to the Ringling Brothers Circus on Saturday morning. Oh My Gosh it was a.m.a.z.i.n.g! The clowns were hysterical & they even had animals! Yaaaaa So much fun! Taylor graciously volunteered for a picture & loved it! Ryan on the other hand was on a downward spiral...  I think he had overdosed on Cotton Candy & Icies {plus it was nap time}.  

Then on Sunday I took a dear friend {look here} out to the flea market with me. Let's just say it was definitely an adventure. We giggled down every isles, cracked the vendors up {photo session}, made new friends & best of all...

  

We bough these RAD sweatshirts that say Local Celebrities for only 2.00 each. {ha ha} We like to think {joke} that we're Encinitas/Cardiff Celebrities. Hey why not... You only live once!  So if you see us in our green sweatshirts... Give us a shout out! Greta thanks for finding the fun with me!

summer nights

These 3 little kids were up very late last night... Dancing in the bright colored lights & giggling on every ride! Oh to be young again... My heart & soul were filled up with so much love watching their every move!  And yes Ryan is in his Lighting McQueen Pajama Top. He insisted to wear it to the fair {gotta love him}. Summer nights are here! 

play date in laguna

I've been looking for a fun new bedding line for a client's daughters room. I wanted something a bit different & wild {bold} in color then all the rest. I happened to stumble upon a picture in a magazine one day... Fell in love... Called the vendor & bammm my client & I were off to Laguna Beach for a play date to shop. Our little date took us to Kerry Cassill's boutique, lala. All I have to say is get up there & check out her bedding & clothes! OH MY Amazing! After draping so many different quilts, sheets, duvet covers & pillows over a little twin bed, we found our combo for sweet Caroline's room! Talk about one lucky girl!

We were getting ready to pay & all of a sudden this woman started talking to us casually. I knew I recognized her {photo from her website}... I whispered to Kelly, OH MY that's Kerry Cassill! OH yes it was. She's awesome! So down to earth & real. She calls it the way she sees it. We talked about India {I want to go so bad}, my store, her store, her bedding... for about a 1/2 hour. Then I finally got the courage to ask for a photo with her. I felt like such a dork, but hello I had to do it for the blog. OH for the love of this damn blog. lol She gladly snapped a shot with me. Thanks Kerry!!

The reason I liked the feel of her store is that it was so down to earth & real... Hello like the rooster! Yes, they had dust, they held a conversation with you & even recommended other stores to shop at. I knew this boutique was my kind of place! Kerry, I'm coming back! {can't wait} Brittany, it was a pleasure meeting you too... Hope to see you soon!

bink... i think i'm your boo

When you meet someone special... You hold on to them tight {you're never leaving me}! I have been very lucky to meet a very talented & creative mom/business owner... Her name is Bianca from Bink & Boo {check out her blog & website}. She really sealed the deal for me when she handed me her business card that had a bunting flag wrapped around it. I almost passed out with excitement because 1.) She made it all by hand 2.) I have never had bunting flags {poor poor me} & 3.) It was perfect!

who's #er 1...

Well, I did it... Ran the Encinitas 5k this Saturday... I had a blast!!!! My running partner was Grace {grace happens} & my cousin, Polly, & her little ones, India & Gwenny. Shhhh we all talked the entire run {little walk}. I'm a little upset that I didn't take my daughter, Taylor, who by the way was still asleep when I left the house {lucky}. Taylor would have had the best time. So many families were out & about. It felt good to support Encinitas & to be healthy! I'm going to sign up for next year & the year after.... & the year after.... Get my point! Good times! Sorry, I didn't take more pictures... I didn't bring my camera. Grace took these pictures from her iphone. Thanks Grace! Don't I look half a sleep in these pictures. ha ha ha My eyes kept watering. I think that was because of the cold weather. Morning mist...

I hope you enjoyed these pictures. I really can't tell you how much fun we had. The spirit, excitement & family feeling was amazing. I know how weird to say family, but their were tons of moms & dads walking & running with their kids. Way to go! I think we all need to be more healthy & involved in exercise with the entire family. That's my new goal with my children! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hope to see everyone next year at the race! For all the friends I saw Saturday, You're AWESOME!
