It's time for me to sail away... I have way too much on my plate right now. I {Sean too} need a vacation very badly. I've been dreaming about hot sandy beaches, crystal clear water & hot oil massages everyday... ahhhhhh I need to just sail away today! First... I have to clean out my storage unit in preparation for my May garage sale {May 29th}... I guess I should really be saying... "One Step at A Time Alex, One Step at A Time! In due time you will get one!" Just breath {wink}!

It was another Sensational Encinitas Street Fair this year... But boy am I tired! The rooster's always closed on Sundays, but today we thought, hey why not... Lets open the doors up & meet new potential customers. I can't believe how many people came in & were so excited to meet us & finally see what's inside our adorable little store.

Then...Taylor became my little side kick... While grandma {mom} ran the store. We decided to explore Highway 101 {mommy & me adventure}.

We smelled this... {amazing}

Then my mom bought Ryan & Taylor some cute inexpensive t-s...

Now it's time for night night... I am sooooooo tired!

I do have to say that every year... I really go for these top 10 reasons {only}:

1.) Sell furniture at the rustic rooster

2.) Meeting new glowing customers {their first time finding the rooster}

3.) Kettle corn

4.) Mexican burrito

5.) Getting Taylor's face painted

6.) Seeing adorable dogs & families walk all around

7.) People watch {some are definitely a little different... as we all are}

8.) Get more junk food... Like Funnel cake {moms favorite}

9.) Listen to loud music

10.) Leave with a lovely farmers tan

But, this year I have to say I found some really good stuff! I was shocked... & I didn't get any funnel cake {Still have Sunday} I was a buyer this year. WOW!

This is how the day went...

Meeting Melissa in her ADORABLE rooster apron at the front door... Ya gotta just love this girl!

Then I walked outside to say HI to our resident grasshopper, Mr. Frank. He attended this years Encinitas Street Fair for the 1st time... Thanks Frank! If you see him say HI, but please let him be in our garden & don't try & take him or touch him. He truly lives there. Thanks!

Then I went out walking & shopping...

it's official...

I've come to the conclusion that lotto is totally rigged... Here's another winner of the lotto, super lotto, power ball... Toothless & tattooed. I'm not saying that those are a bad thing, but come on its a trend with the power ball. You never hear of a well off hard working family that's safe, secure in life, love & happiness wins the jackpot. You hear... I was sleeping in my car, I had 15 dollars in my bank account, I'm 40 & live with my grandma... or a tractor just ran over my leg. Hello! Do I need to do that to win. I've slept in my car... I've had only 15 dollars in my bank account... I've lived with my mom {& dad}... I've fallen off my bike & hurt my arm {maybe that counts}... Hey lotto look at me!

sensational seascape

I found this amazing seascape about 5 years ago & have been in love with it ever since {everyday}! The paint is chipped, it has no frame & it has a very teeny tiny hole in it. I wouldn't give it away for the world {back off people it's mine, LOL}... It's on my fireplace mantel right now but, it has moved all around my house & back around again many many times. I love sensational seascapes... I do have a mini collection of seascapes. One day I'll show you all...
